Shooting and Ball-Handling Camps
What players will learn?
The Iowa Battlers Skill Development Camp will help young basketball players develop the KEY skills that they need to become a great basketball player.
Players will learn important mental aspects of the game including aggressiveness, building confidence, reducing the fear of failure, shooting mentality, work ethic, and how to be mentally tough
Players will learn how to attack when they catch the ball on the perimeter. They will also learn how to improve perimeter moves, footwork, and become very difficult to guard. Allowing players to easily beat their defender.
Players will learn how to improve their ball-handling skills. This includes dribbling, passing, decision making, and reducing turnovers.
Fast Break Drills
Players will learn proper footwork in fast break situations and improve their ability to score in transition.
High rep shooting drills, Players will learn how to be more consistent and effective with their shot. Be more confident while becoming a better shooter.

Grades and Dates/ Times
Schedule – March, 13th, 14th, 15th, 2018 (3 Days)
Players going into 2nd/3rd/4th Grade – 10am to 11:30am
Players going into 5th/6th/7th Grade – 1pm to 2:30pm
